Emory University swimmer Andrew Wilson took home two national titles in the 100- and 200-meter Breaststroke last week at the U.S. Open Swimming Championships in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
In the 200, Wilson set a new U.S. Open meet record with a time of 2:09.73 and in the 100, he posted a personal best mark of 59.51, which ranks as the third fastest American time and the seventh fastest in the world.
With his performance in the 100 Breast, Wilson added the Phillips 66 Performance of the Meet award.
Wilson and the Emory University men’s swimming and diving team opens the 2016-17 season on October 7th against Georgia Tech and October 8th versus Notre Dame.
