Four UAA Teams Receive Bids to NCAA Division III Men's Tennis Championship

Four Association teams, headed by UAA champion University of Chicago, earned bids to the 2018 NCAA Division III Men's Tennis Championship.

The Maroons will host a five-team regional Friday through Sunday that includes UAA rival Carnegie Mellon University. With a bye in the opening round, Chicago will play a second-round contest against the Augustana College-John Carroll University winner. The Tartans will face Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in the second round on Saturday.

UAA runner-up Emory University will host a five-team regional Friday through Sunday and receive a bye into the second round. The Eagles will play the winner of the first-round matchup between Washington & Lee University and Thomas More College. The other second-round contest will pit North Carolina Wesleyan University against Sewanee: The University of the South.

Washington University will travel to Gambier, Ohio for a five-team regional hosted by Kenyon College Thursday through Saturday. The Bears earn a first-round bye before playing the winner of the Hope College-Franciscan College match. Kenyon hosts Mary Washington University in the other second-round contest.

Claremont- Mudd-Scripps will host the team championship finals, which will be held May 21-26 at The Biszantz Family Tenns Center in Claremont, California.
