DiTucci have been honored by the National Fastpitch Coaches
Association (NFCA) as the NCAA Division III Northeast Regional
Coaching Staff of the Year for the 2014 season.
Rochester is coming off of one of the best seasons in school history in which the Yellowjackets ended with a 32-14 record. UR reached the NCAA Division III Championships (top-8) for the first time in school history after winning a Regional and Super Regional tournament hosted at Rochester's Southside Field. The Yellowjackets also captured the Liberty League Championships for the sixth time, the first in league history with an automatic NCAA berth.
In the final NFCA DIII poll, Rochester finished ranked #13 in the country, the programs highest ever ranking in an end of the season poll.
Yerdon just completed her fifth season in the Rochester dugout where she has guided the team to an overall record of 132-82 (.617) and two NCAA Tournament appearances.
2014 national champion Tufts and their coaches took home National Coaching Staff of the Year from the NFCA after winning their second straight national title.
