Brandeis University will host the second volleyball round robin on Saturday and Sunday.
Emory University, ranked fifth in the latest American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Top 25 Poll, and University of Chicago each posted a 3-0 record at the first round robin two weeks ago in Pittsburgh. The Eagles are currently on a 14-match winning streak.
16th-ranked Washington University and University of Rochester each head into the weekend with 2-1 marks in UAA play. The Bears have won six of their last seven matches, while the Yellowjackets have won six consecutive matches and eight of their last nine.
19th-ranked Carnegie Mellon University and Case Western Reserve University each finished 1-2 during the first UAA weekend. The Tartans have recorded six- and seven-match winning streaks this season, while the Spartans have posted an 8-2 record in five-set matches.
NYU (13-7 overall) and the host Judges (7-10) will be looking to earn their first UAA win.
Each team will play four matches this weekend to complete round robin play and set the seeding for the UAA Volleyball Championship to be held at Washington University, Nov. 4-5.
