NYU Leads Directors' Cup Standings Through Winter Season; Seven UAA Institutions Ranked in Top-35
NYU leads the LEARFIELD Directors' Cup standings for NCAA Division III following the winter season. Seven UAA schools are ranked in the top-35 with three ranked among the top five schools.

The LEARFIELD Directors' Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and
USA Today. Points are awarded based on each institution's finish in NCAA Championships.
NYU captured the 2024 NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Championship and added program-bests of third place in women's swimming & diving and fourth place in men's swimming & diving.
Emory is ranked fourth after earning its third consecutive title at the 2024 NCAA Division III Men's Swimming & Diving Championships and adding a sixth-place finish on the women's side.
Washington University stands fifth overalll, keyed by a runner-up finish in women's indoor track & field.
University of Chicago, ranked 11th, recorded three top-10 NCAA finishes in the winter (third in men's swimming and diving, eighth in women's swimming & diving, and 10th in women's indoor track & field). Carnegie Mellon University is ranked 16th with an eighth-place finish in men's swimming & diving leading their winter finishes.
Case Western Reserve University (33rd) and University of Rochester (35th) made the UAA the only conference with seven schools ranked among the top 35 teams in the standings. The Spartans' women's swimming & diving team posted a program-best 13th-place finish at the NCAA championship.
