TEAM RECORDS
- Brandeis, 0-1-1.
- Suffolk, 1-0-1.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- It was a closely contested game that saw the defenses prevail, preventing quality looks at the goal.
- Shots were even in the first half at 3-3, with Suffolk putting two on goal compared to one for Brandeis.
- The Judges had a 7-6 edge in the second half to finish with a 10-9 margin for the game, but the putting two on frame in the final 45 minutes compared to one for the visitors, as shot on goal finished even at 3-all.
- Perhaps the best attempt of the game for Brandeis came in the 83rd minute, when junior Nico Beninda (Monroe Township, N.J./Monroe Township) hit the far left post from about 10 yards out.
- The Judges also went wide just outside the post a couple of times late in the game on free kicks, but were unable to find the back of the net.
- Brandeis senior Quintin Wrabley (Malvern, Pa./Great Valley) made three saves for the game for his first shutout of the season and the fifth of his career.
- Suffolk sophomore Nathan Harlow also had three stops for his third collegiate clean sheet.
- Beninda led Brandeis with five shots for the match, and classmate Rainer Osselmann-Chai (Acton, Mass./Acton-Boxborough Regional) had three. The Rams' Francisco Valck had four for the visitors.
