Carnegie Mellon Tops WashU, Wins First UAA Volleyball Championship Title

The Carnegie Mellon University volleyball team defeated 17th-ranked Washington University in St. Louis in the University Athletic Association (UAA) Championship match to earn the program's first UAA championship. The Tartans won by a 3-0 score (25-22, 25-22, 25-15) to move to 24-8 for the season.

  • In set one, senior Katherine Jackston had seven kills, including four straight when the Tartans trailed 21-20.
