Sydney Kuo of WashU Earns Second Team Academic All-America Honors

Washington University in St. Louis recent graduate Sydney Kuo earned College Sports Communicators Academic All-America honors. She is the fifth Academic All-American in golf program history, earning it for the second year in a row.

Kuo earned a second team nod, coming on the heels of being named to the 2024-25 Women's Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholar Team and winning the 2025 Division III Inkster Award, bot announced at the end of last month.

In her final season with the Bears, Kuo capped off a storied career, earning her record fourth-straight UAA Player of the Year honor. She is the lone player in conference history to receive the honor more than twice. Kuo is a four-time First Team All-American, marking just the second time in program history a golfer has achieved the feat.

In May, Kuo graduated with a bachelor's degree in economics and strategy with minors in business analytics and computer science.
