CWRU Draws With Kenyon in Regional Showdown
The Case Western Reserve University men's soccer team earned a scoreless draw with Kenyon College on Saturday afternoon at Mavec Field in Gambier, Ohio.
The Spartans remained undefeated with the draw, moving to 6-0-2, while the Owls moved to 4-1-2.

- Senior Bradley Winter saved one shot and faced seven to record his seventh shutout of the season and the 19th of his career
- The Spartan backline of senior Phillip Washington, junior Philip Vlastaris, and first-years Alex Eby and Gavin Trosch each played the entire contest
First Half
- Both Spartan shots in the first half came in the first 18 minutes of play
- Winter made an acrobatic diving save in the 23rd minute to keep the hosts off the board
Second Half
- Sophomore Amir Awais attempted a shot in the 49th minute off a long pass from the midfield
- However, it was saved with a dive by the Kenyon goalkeeper
- Kenyon had three shots in the final 45 minutes of play with all three off target

- CWRU moved to 4-8-2 against Kenyon since 1994 with both ties coming in the last four meetings
- The Spartans were held without a goal for the first time this season and first time in their last 11 matches
