No. 20 Tartans Remain Unbeaten at Home with 3-0 Win Against Salisbury
The 20th-ranked Carnegie Mellon University women's soccer team defeated Salisbury University on Saturday by a 3-0 score. The victory pushes the Tartans to an overall record of 8-1-1 while the Sea Gulls move to 1-8-2.

- Junior Natalie Rayce scored the first goal for the Tartans on an unassisted play in the thire minute of the game after she won the ball off a defender inside the box.
- Junior Saveria Ulizzi scored another goal for the Tartans in the eighth minute after she chased a ball to the end line, put a pass across the box that was stopped by the keeper but fell right back to her for a quick shot and her fifth goal of the season.
- The rest of the first half was quiet for both teams with only three shots taken by the Tartans.
- Sophomore Alma Zhong scored the third and final goal of the game with assistance from Rayce and Ulizzi in the 59th minute after freshman Haley Peek battled a defender along the end line before finding Rayce with a pass. Rayce played it across the box to Ulizzi who found Zhong for the shot.
- The Tartans tallied a total of 17 shots with eight being on goal compared to Salisbury's two shots tallied with none on goal.
