Brandeis Battles to Scoreless Draw in 50th Meeting with Babson

In a tightly-contested game, the Brandeis University women's soccer team battled to a scoreless draw today as they faced their oldest rivals, the Babson College Beavers, on the road.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The 50th showdown between the two sides was evenly contested, marking just the fifth tie between the two sides.
- It was the first draw since 2021, and only the second-ever scoreless match, joining the 1998 meeting.
- The Judges now lead the series, 26-19-5.
- Brandeis had a 13-12 edge in shots, while Babson had five shots on goal to Brandeis's four.
- Brandeis sophomore Katie Collins (Littleton, Mass./Francis W. Parker Charter Essential School) led the Judges with four shots, including one on goal in the 17th minute.
- Babson's Josie Lee led all players with five shots total, including three on goal.
- Brandeis junior Amaya Logan (Jacksonville, Fla./Creekside) stopped Lee twice in the first half and once in the second.
- Her best save of the game came early in the second half with a diving stop on Babson's Olga Metelkine.
- Logan finished with five saves to earn her first collegiate shutout.
- Babson's Callahan Cottone had two stops in the first half, while Cleo Grignard made two saves in the second.
