WashU Women, UChicago Men Sweep UAA Indoor Track & Field Most Outstanding Performer Honors

Association champions Washington University in St. Louis women and University of Chicago men swept the top honors as the 2026 UAA Indoor Track & Field Championship award winners were announced.

Lucinda Laughlin of WashU won the 3,000 meter run in 9:38.76 and ran the anchor leg of the Bears' victorious distance medley relay that broke the UAA record. Jenae Bothe won the shot put with a throw of 14.77 meters and placed fourth in the weight throw (14.58 meters).

Sanju Patel of the Maroons swept the 3,000 meter (8:21.20) and 1,500 meter (14:47.97) events, while Dixon earned a pair of wins in the shot put (16.72 meters) and weight throw (UAA record 18.82 meters).
